•    Assistant Superintendent (HR) – The Candidate should be passed Bachelors of Business Administration(BBA)/ Graduation in any discipline with Diploma in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations/ Labour Law and Labour Welfare or Social Work/ Sociology/2 years Post qualification relevant work Expc in HR function
•    Civil Assistant – The Candidate should be passed Diploma in Civil Engg/5 Expc in the line for W-7 grade
•    Civil Assistant – The Candidate should be passed Diploma in Civil Engg/5 Expc in the line for W-7 grade
•    Diploma Trainee (Electrical Engg ) – The Candidate should be passed Diploma in Electrical Engg
•    Diploma Trainee (Mechanical Engg ) – The Candidate should be passed Diploma in Mechanical Engg
•    Diploma Trainee (Shipbuilding Engg) – The Candidate should be passed Diploma in Shipbuilding Engg (4 years)
•    Store Assistant – The Candidate should be passed Graduation in in any discipline/Computer Typing speed 30 words/min/Must have Computer Applications course certificate
•    Yard Assistant – The Candidate should be passed Graduation in in any discipline/Computer Typing speed 30 words/min/Must have Computer Applications course certificate

•    Refrigerator & AC Mechanic – The Candidate should be passed ITI in trade of Refrigeration and AC Mechanic/ NCTVT Certificate/2 years Expc in the training in the respective trade in GSL
•    Trainee Welder – The Candidate should be passed ITI in Welder Trade/NCTVT Trade Certificate
•    Junior Supervisor Master – The Candidate should be passed Master of inland vessel with 60% marks merit issued by mercantile/captain of ports
•    Junior Supervisor (Tug Master) – The Candidate should be passed Master of Inland Vessels issued by the Captain of Ports or Mercantile Marine Department
•    Trainee Structural Fitter – The Candidate should be passed NCTVT in Structural Fitter/sheet metal worker/ ITI in Fitter/Fitter General/Structural Fitter Trades/NCTVT Trade Certificate
•    Trainee General Fitter – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/ITI in the trade of Fitter/ Fitter General
•    Junior Supervisor (Shipwright) – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Minimum 10 years worked in navy or other armed forces with the last rank not less than the rank of leading sea man/leading mechanical engineer
•    EOT Crane Operator – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Must have valid Heavy Vehicle driving license/2 years training in the respective trade in GSL
•    Vehicle Driver – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Must have valid Heavy Vehicle driving license/2 years training in the respective trade in GSL
•    Mobile Crane Operator – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Must have valid Heavy Vehicle driving license/2 years training in the respective trade in GSL
•    Unskilled – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/1 year Expc in the line
•    Printer cum Record Keeper – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/6 months Computer Applications course certificate/Must be 1 year on the job training in GSL
•    Shipwright Fitter – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Training Certificate from deck/Engine department/2 years Expc in the line/trade from shipbuilding industry
•    Khalasi – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Training Certificate from deck/Engine department/2 years Expc in the line/trade from shipbuilding industry
•    Oilman – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/Training Certificate from deck/Engine department/2 years Expc in the line/trade from shipbuilding industry
•    Painter – The Candidate should be passed SSC Examination pass/2 years training in the respective trade in GSL
•    Cook – The Candidate should be passed SSC Standard Examination pass/8 years cooking Expc in any industry/Public sector Undertaking/small or medium industry/Hotel

Age: The candidate age should be between 28-40 years. Upper age limit for SC/ST/PWD applicable as per Govt. guidelines

•    Assistant Superintendent (HR) – The Pay Scale of Rs.9000-3%-23300/- per month
•    Civil Assistant – The Pay Scale of Rs.7000- 3% – 24270/- per month
•    Civil Assistant – The Pay Scale of Rs.7000/- per month (1st year), Rs 7210/- per month (2nd Year), Rs 7430/- per month (3rd year)
•    Diploma Trainee (Electrical Engg ) – The Pay Scale of Rs.8000/- per month
•    Diploma Trainee (Mechanical Engg ) – The Pay Scale of Rs.8000/- per month
•    Diploma Trainee (Shipbuilding Engg) – The Pay Scale of Rs.8000/- per month
•    Store Assistant – The Pay Scale of Rs.6000-3%-16950/- per month
