Educational Qualification For ESIC Hyderabad Recruitment 2016:

Professor:

Essential for Medical Candidates:

A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act. A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.

Essential for Non-Medical Candidates:

A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline. A Doctorate degree from a recognized University in the respective subject/allied discipline.

Associate Professor:

Essential for Medical Candidates:

A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Act.

  • MBBS from a recognized Medical Institutions
  • Qualifications and experiences as per teachers eligibility criteria available in MCI website
  • DNB in concerned specialty from MCI recognized teaching institutions and as per MCIregulations

Junior Residents and Tutors:

  • General Medicine, Gen. Surgery, Orthopedics, Dermeto Dermatology, Psychiatry, ENT, Ophthalmology, Pathology and forensic medicine, MBBS degree from MCI recognized Medical college,
  • Anatomy: MBBS Degree from MCI recognized Medical college/ MSc., in anatomy(faculty of medicine
  • Biochemistry – MBBS Degree from MCI recognized Medical college/MSc., in Biochemistry (faculty of medicine

Age:

Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant professor: 67 Years
Senior Residents: 35 Years
Tutors, Junior Residents: 30 Years

Pay or Salary:

  • ESIC has adopted recommendation of 6th Central Pay Commission. Pay (Pay in pay Band plus grade pay) and other allowances shall be paid as admissible.
  • The retired Government Officers shall be paid emoluments in accordance with the rules in force as on date.
  • Other Candidates appointed on Contractual basis will be paid Pay at the initial stage i.e. Initial Pay of the relevant Pay band plus Grade Pay and other allowances as per Rules of the Corporation.
  • Pay as on date i.e. Pay in |Pay Band + Grade Pay + NPA @ 25%( as admissible) in different categories
  • In addition to above, other allowances like DA, HRA etc would be payable as admissible ( Medical degree Holders only are eligible for NPA) .
  • No Private practice is allowed during tenure of service in ESIC.
  • Retirees from Central. State Govt./PSU from the equivalent posts are eligible to apply. Persons working in recognized/approved private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria for the Post may also apply.
  • The Candidates have to attach the self attested copies of all the relevant certificates/testimonials on support of date of birth, category, sub category i.e. educational qualifications, teaching experience, pension payment order (PPO), etc., with the application form and have to produce originals thereof at
    the time of interview.
