Government of Tripura, Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests has issued notification for the recruitment of 70 Mali-cum-Watcher, Cook-cum-Attendant-cum-Chowkider & Peon vacancies under the Forest Department on temporary & fixed pay basis. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format on or before 12-05-2016 between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Name of the Posts:
1. Mali-cum-Watcher: 35 Posts
2. Cook-cum-Attendant-cum-Chowkider: 30 Posts
3. Peon: 05 Posts

 

Age:
Candidates age should between 18 to 40 years as on 02-05-2016. Age relaxation is applicable of 5 years for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.

 

Educational Qualification For Tripura Forest Department Recruitment 2016:
Candidates should possess VIII class pass for General, Vth class pass for SC/ ST from a recognized school.

 

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on interview.

 

About Tripura Forest Department:
Tripura Forest Department is entrusted with task of managing of Forest & Wildlife Resources of the state of Tripura. The moto of the Department is the “ecological stability for socio-economic security of the people of the state”. For achieving the moto the sphere of activities encompasses planning, promotion, co-ordination & implementation of the Forest Policies & Programmes in consonance with the policy guidance of the Ministry of Forests, Environment & Climate Change, Govt. of India.
The main objectives of the Department are:
1. Prevention of degradation of forests resources & improving their quality.
2. Restoration of degraded forest land.
3. Maintaining ecological restoration.
4. Creation of livelihood opportunities through sustainable use of forests, wildlife & biodiversity resources.
These objectives are well supported by a set of legislative & regulatory measures aimed at the sustainable use of these resources for the benefit of the people of the state to achieve the overall environmental consensus of the country. Besides the legislative measures the National Forest Policy 1988, the State Afforestation Policy etc. guide the activities of the Department.
