Educational Qualification:

Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Botany; Environmental Science/ Microbiology/Life Science; Soil Science) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the respective subject/ discipline. The requirement regarding minimum percentage of marks shall be relaxed up to 5% in case of SC/ ST/OBC candidates.The candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree (in relevant subject) in accordance with the University Grant commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.

Age:

For Male candidates shall be 35 years as on 01.11.2014. This limit can be relaxed for further 5 years to the female candidates. The relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH and in service candidates as per Government norms.

Pay or Salary:

For Scientist Rs.15,600-39,100 + 6,000 /-. For Technical Assistant Rs.5,200-20,200 + 2,800 /-. For Lab Attendant Rs.4,440-7,440 + 1,400 /-
