Name of the Posts:

•   Research Fellow – 04 Posts
•   Junior Research Fellow – 02 Posts
•   Field Assistant – 3 Posts

Educational Qualification:

•   Research Fellow – 1st Class Master Degree in Botany/ Forestry/Plant Genetics Resources with 3 years research experience in Genetics/Tree Improvement/Taxonomy/ Forestry.
•   Junior Research Fellow – 1st Class degree Master degree in Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, chemistry.   Experience: Research experience in the field of entomology, extraction and identification of bioactive compounds.
•   Field Assistant – HSC(+2) / 1st class degree in Life Science

Age:

•   Research Fellow – The Candidate age not exceeding 35 years as on 19.10.2015 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped and OBC).
•   Junior Research Fellow – The Candidate age not exceeding 28 years as on 19.10.2015 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/Women/Physically handicapped and OBC
•   Field Assistant – The Candidate age not exceeding 25 years as on 19.10.2015 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)

Pay or Salary:

•   Research Fellow – The Pay Scale of Rs.20000/- per month.
•   Junior Research Fellow – The Pay Scale of Rs.12000/- per month.
•   Field Assistant – The Pay Scale of Rs.8000/- per month.

Selection Procedure for IFGTB:
