About AECS:

Atomic Energy Central School (AECS) is a chain of schools run by the AEES (Atomic Energy Education Society), Mumbai, India, for the children of employees of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), India. The school has 30 branches at 16 locations throughout India. This article describes schools located at Mumbai, Hyderabad, Tarapur, Maharashtra, Narora (UP), Kalpakkam (TN). Rawat Bhata (Rajasthan), Jaduguda (Jharkhand), Kakrapar (Gujarat), Kaiga (Karnataka), Manuguru (Andhra Pradesh), Kudankulam (TN), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Mysore (Karnataka), OSCOM (Chatrapur, Orissa).

The Atomic Energy Education Society was setup to provide quality education to the children of the employees of the Department of Atomic Energy and its constituent units. From a modest beginning in the year 1969 with one school in Anushaktinagar, Mumbai, the AEES has grown steadily, and presently administers 30 schools and junior colleges at 16 locations all over the country. It has grown into a dynamic organization managed by 1781 staff members, of which about 1547 are teachers, entrusted with the responsibility of nurturing 27889 students.

Educational Qualification for AECS Recruitment 2016:

Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks and B.Ed for S.No- 1, M.Sc. in Computer Science or MCA/ BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science or M.Sc. with PGDCA for S.No- 2, BA with English as main subject in all three years with minimum of 50% marks and B.Ed for S,No-3.
