About Directorate of Higher Education:

The Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra is the apex body managing the admission process for admission to higher education programs in the state.  Logical Reasoning

  • This subject is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical link and rectify in logical arguments. It will include a wide variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles or rules.

 Analytical Reasoning

  • This subject is to measure the ability to understand the structure of relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures. It includes reasoning deductively from a set of statements and rules or principles that describe the relationship among persons things or events.

English

  • Vocabulary (synonyms antonyms and analogies etc.) proficiency ( idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, and rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc.) English usages error (common errors spotting errors inappropriate usages of words spelling mistakes etc.), English comprehension with minimum 2 passages followed by 5 to 10 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

Basic Mathematics

  • The mathematics questions will be set from the 10th and 12th level of various topic including profit and loss speed and distance time and work algebra averages permutation and combination Venn diagrams.

MH CET Law Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for MH CET Law 2017 is mentioned Below:

  • Candidates of Indian National are eligible to apply for this exam.
  • To be eligible for LLB program, the candidate must have completed their qualification in the pattern 0of 10+2+3.
  • Students who are appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
  • For LL.B (five-year) programs, students must have passed a 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board securing 45% marks for general and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • For LL.B (Three years) course, candidates must hold a graduate or post-graduate degree with obtaining minimum 45% marks for general candidate and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • The DHE Maharashtra State will specify eligibility criteria of MH CET Law 2017 in the examination notification.
  •  General category candidates applying for three-year Law programs should be below 30 years of age and for relaxation in upper age limit SC, ST and OBC categories are given five years.
