SSC CGL Recruitment 2014 | SSC CGL Examination 2014 | SSC CGL Apply Online | Staff Selection Commission Recruitment Notification 2014 for Group B and Group C Posts. Commission will be holding Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2014 for recruitment to different posts for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination. Posts have been placed in two groups, inter-alia, based on their Grade Pay and papers in Tier II examination/Interview. Preference for Posts, is to be indicated in the application. Candidates are requested to note that preference for Posts once exercised will be final. Request for change of preference will not be considered under any circumstance. For the post of Assistant in CSS, candidate shall have not more than three attempts unless covered by any of the exceptions notified by Government of India.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not exceed 26 years for Statistical Investigator Gr. II post, 20 years to 27 years for Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI post and between 18 years to 27 years for all remaining posts as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Selection Process: two Tiers (Tier-I & Tier-II) of Written examination, Computer Proficiency Test, Skill test, Interview.
i) Compiler : Bachelor‟s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.
ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor‟s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects
Bachelor‟s Degree with Mathematics ( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
Bachelor‟s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
Bachelor‟s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects
iii) All other Posts: Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. .
Note I: For posts of Assistants (CSS), Computer Proficiency has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee. Candidates applying through offline can pay the fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”only at Departmental Post offices and should be pasted on the application form and got cancelled at the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp. Candidates applying through online can be paid through SBI Challan or online account with SBI.
